Honolulu AIDS Walk 2017 Sponsorship Opportunities
Life Foundation invites you to help make a difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS and become a sponsor of the 26th annual Honolulu AIDS Walk. This milestone will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the beautiful Kapiolani Park at 9 a.m. The Honolulu AIDS Walk is the largest annual fundraiser for Life Foundation, one of the first AIDS programs in the country and the most comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and prevention organization in Hawai‘i.
Sponsors receive phenomenal exposure and visibility on the island of Oahu. This is a major community event and means a lot to people. Everyone has heard of the AIDS Walk and over a hundred thousand people have participated. Be viewed favorably in the community with compassionate advertising.
The Honolulu AIDS Walk is an opportunity for the community to come together to remember those we have lost to HIV/AIDS, celebrate together the achievements we have made in HIV care and treatment, and also share in the hope that one day we will no longer see people becoming infected with HIV and dying from AIDS.
The event draws around 3,000 walkers and almost 150 teams. It is 100% free to register and participate. Walkers support the cause by asking family, friends, and co-workers for donations. This year, we are hoping to raise $300,000 to provide essential, life-saving services.
While the discussion on AIDS has become rather complacent in U.S., it is still infecting and killing people every day. In 2016, 22 of our HIV positive case managed clients died. We walk each year for them and for the many people whose lives will be saved by our efforts. AIDS is still a problem! Please be a part of the solution! Below you will find the sponsorship levels available for the 2017 Honolulu AIDS Walk.
